Just amazing, peaceful place with magnificent scenery! My hiking way was from Montana with cable car to Cry'dEr than walk to Violletes, from there next cable car to Plaine Morte and walk down to Montana!

Easy hike from the top of the cable car with jaw dropping 360 views of the surrounding mountains. There’s even a AR-equipped telescope-like device to help you identify them!

Toller Aussichtspunkt über dem Plaine Morte Gletscher (oder was von ihm übrig geblieben ist) Sehr schön auch die rund 1 stündige Wanderung zur Wildstrubel-Hütte entlang der Plaine Morte. Ich war um August '22 oben, die Fahrt mit der Gondelbahn ab CransMontana kostete Fr. 24.- mit der Gästekarte. In der Station La Viollette muss einmal umgestiegen werden. Von dort fahren jede halbe Stunde ab 08:30 jeweils 2 Gondel ganz nach oben auf die Plaine Morte.
