Amazing place to ride. Came here in late July with the Titanium Road Bike that I designed, built and assembled to test it's performance. I'm not consider myself a pro, but the bicycle performance was great. More important I survived the descend reaching max speed of 40mph. It was a great experience. There was some snow on the ground but temp was a very nice to ride. Some traffic but never felt that was an issue. Hope to go back next year to do the entire route. The bike on the picture is the prototype "Pilot" base model for the next generation of roadbikes. Update model will hopefully be available for purchase. Check the my Adventure bike and more on my website Murati Titanium Bicycles or on Instagram muratibicycles. Enjoy the planet...

This is where we come for high altitude hiking during the summers, when we want to get away from the heat where we live outside Lausanne. The Hospiz hotel had already closed like most of the restaurants in the pass. I managed to get a delicious home made Apfelstrudel with a Cappucino in the only one that was open, the Alpenlodge, being surrounded by the old relics of the upper...
