Wir starteten die Wanderung vom Glaubenbergpass, in Richtung Fürstein. Es empfiehlt sich, zuerst den Weg via Rickhubel zu machen. Der Weg steigt durchs Nadelgehölz bis zum Rickhubel immer an, ist aber problemlos zu gehen. Erst kurz vor dem Rickhubel ab 1800m sieht man etwas mehr in die Weite. Nach der Gipfeltraverse Rickhubel geht es Flach, bis zum Fuss des Fürstein. Dort steigt es dann nochmals steil an, bis zum Gipfel des Fürstein auf 2040m. Dort kann man die herrliche Aussicht auf die vielen umliegenden Gipfel geniessen. Trotz Samstag und schönem Wetter, hielt sich der Besucher-Strom in Grenzen. Der Abstieg via Sewenseeli ist toll. Nicht steil, schön zu gehen. Nur grad der Schluss ab der Sewenegg bis zum Glaubenbergpass geht über einen asphaltierten Weg. Aber für den Abstieg ist es so ok. Diesen Weg hoch möchte ich nicht. Fazit: Wundervolle Gegend, absolut toller Gipfel mit schöner Aussicht. Den würde ich nochmals machen... 🇨🇭

Suitable for most hikers and walkers as the trail is not very strenuous. Lots of beauty to see along the way and a nice summit where you can have a picnic and sign the guest book. Went in October and the weather was still hot and sunny.

Ob im Schnee - bei Vollmond - oder im Sonnenschein Der Fürstein ist ein Berg in den Luzerner/Obwaldner Alpen, welcher im Winter (Skitour / Schneeschuhe, wie auch im Sommer sehr gut erreicht werden kann. Er eignet sich auch fantastisch als spezielle Sommertour im Vollmond. Idealerweise natürlich mit Ortskenntnis und ohne Abstieg iüber die nördliche Felswand.

Ob im Schnee - bei Vollmond - oder im Sonnenschein Der Fürstein ist ein Berg in den Luzerner/Obwaldner Alpen, welcher im Winter (Skitour / Schneeschuhe, wie auch im Sommer sehr gut erreicht werden kann. Er eignet sich auch fantastisch als spezielle Sommertour im Vollmond. Idealerweise natürlich mit Ortskenntnis und ohne Abstieg iüber die nördliche Felswand.

I wouldn t recommand this summit. Not very nice. ( if you don t live nearby that mountain, it s not worth one/two hours drive. The small mountain lake on the way up is not beautiful either.
