Klausen Pass — Local services in Spiringen

At an elevation of 1,948 meters , the Klausen Pass is one of Switzerland's most scenic and enjoyable alpine crossings, linking Uri and Glarus cantons. The pass road stretches 46 km between Altdorf and Linthal, featuring narrow switchbacks, sweeping curves, and breathtaking views of the Glarus Alps.

Key Features: Driving Experience: The climb from Altdorf (north side) is steeper and more technical, with tight hairpins, while the southern descent toward Linthal offers gentler curves through lush meadows.

Cycling Challenge: A favorite among cyclists, the full climb from Altdorf covers 23 km at an average 6.4% gradient, making it tough but rewarding.

Scenery: Unlike some barren high-alpine passes, Klausen is surrounded by green valleys, waterfalls, and traditional Swiss chalets, with fewer tunnels than nearby Gotthard.

We drove here mid May 2025 and was amazed with the scenery. It wasn't a sunny day, but still special to drive. It was a weekday and not very busy. There are plenty of stopping points to take photos of the views, as well as being able to spot plenty of waterfalls and little villages along the way.

ممر klausenpass وهو ممر جبلي يفتح ٥ اشهر في السنه من مايو الى اكتوبر ،، الطريق يرتفع من ٥٠٠ متر فوق سطح البحر حتى ١٩٥٠ متر في اعلى نقطه وتحيط به القمم الثلجية من الجهتين، تمر بالوديان والمراعي والمرتفعات وتشاهد سويسرا من بابها الواسع ،، استغرق الامر ٤-٥ ساعات لأن الطريق يحبس الانفاس ولا ودك تخلي مكان ما وقفت فيه .. في اعلى الطريق فيه فندق فيه مطعم وكوفي يستاهل توقف فيه وتروق تكسر الطريق ،، يوجد اكثر من شلال لكن اقربهم للطريق كان شلال berglistuber تمشي له دقايق وماكان عنده احد وقت مازرناه وفي باب صغير تفتحه وتنزل تحت الشلال بس خلك حذر لأن الارض زلقه ،، للاسف عند اقترابنا من نهاية الممر كان في حادث استلزم ايقاف الطريق ٣ ساعات مما اضطرنا لسلوك طريق زراعي خاص كان يستلزم دفع ٢٠ فرانك لاخذ تصريح ولا حصلنا البيت اللي تاخذ منه التصريح وتوقعت احد يوقفنا قدام ولكن مالقينا ،، الطريق البديل كان خطير شوي وضيق جدا ان قابلت احد لابد توقف وترجع او هو يرجع لكن الحمدلله عدت سلامات … رأيي في الممر ؟؟ يستحق التجربه لمن يعشق الطبيعه لو يقعد فيها لحاله ولديه مهارة القياده في المرتفعات او متعود عليه ويكون حذر جدا .. وشرط يكون الجو صافي او مشمس .. غير هذي الشروط الثلاثه...
