By far, hands down, our favorite refuge we stayed at on our trek. The guardians truly embodied their title -- their family has been taking care of the cabin for decades and the love they have for this magical little cabin and gorgeous spot is palpable. The first 1 km was the ONLY place with snow. All doable w out mini crampons. I used out of extreme precaution and if slipped it would not have been a problem. But I flew across. My partners got it done 1 min slower.
