薯園山，Ｈ６０２Ｍ，總督府圖根補點。山頂四周被樹木圍繞而無展望，基點周圍被整理出一片空地，但空地不大，約容納７～８人。可從水頭排山走稜線過來，經過鎮石山，山谷風景秀麗。或是從產業道路借道私人苗圃（果園）陡上竹林直接到薯園山。一天的時間則可以走田薯連走，從田寮山經水頭排山等到薯園山，不過較適合秋冬涼爽時走，海拔低夏天會太熱。

20220114本次登山行程乃是臨時決定由水頭排山走過來，單程雖然只需要40分鐘，但並非一趟輕鬆好走的行程，整個過程途中並不平順不斷上上下下，不是極陡上就是極陡下，另外該附近區域土質潮濕易滑，只要不是好幾天沒下雨完全乾燥，在極陡上及陡下區域沒有設置拉繩，腳下泥土有如爛泥一般非常難行。
