非常美麗的地方，中間有一座小小的橋供人行走。（橋上有燈照在地上，所以不用擔心晚上會跌倒，非常貼心╰(´︶`)╯）

池上有荷花橋邊有一種不知名花卉。白白一絲一絲的很雅緻，原本沒開花覺得沒什麼，結果一開驚為天人。是真的很美。

偶爾還可以看到白鷺鷥和鴨鴨^o^ 在橋上行走的時候很常有蜻蜓圍繞，每次經過都超怕會踩到xd

個人其實蠻喜歡下雨時湖上的變化，像波浪一樣，不停舞動著，跟以往風平浪靜時比也別有一番風味。

是一個很適合打卡的地方~身邊圍繞著一座湖好...

民國90年的潭美颱風造成高雄地區嚴重大淹水，第一科大為了改善校園防洪機制，因此規劃建造了這座生態池，在建設完成之初，池邊停留了一批由西伯利亞南飛渡冬的過境鳥—高蹺鴴，因此將生態池命名為鴴池，池畔大石上有余光中老師特別為此而作的詩。
