PasTaai is located off the beaten path, with not even a 7-Eleven in sight. It is essentially a collection of cabins and rooms in a camp complex with a designated "grill" area where the Chinese clients who knew what they were getting where using.

There is no front desk, and after wandering around the "camp" looking lost we finally encountered a lady who did not speak a word of English but managed to check us in. We tried to infer from her when breakfast is served but the language barrier proved too much of a challenge. At the evening we were visited by an employee who spoke better English, who apologized and explained we got the wrong room, afterwards we were moved to another, smaller one, but received cash (!) compensation. Ah well.

While there is A/C in the rooms, there is no heating function, so at 12 degrees Celsius we were trying to preserve body heat. The walls paper thin which made sleep quality horrible.

Breakfast had a nice variety but none of it will probably appeal to a Western traveler. We said our goodbyes, which were probably not understood, and were off as soon the...

There is virtually no service at all on this farm. We booked this for the firefly only to realise that the fireflies season is only in Apr and May. I hope no one else get tricked by the misleading advert on their website.

There are no farm animals or any activities possible. It's literally a farm in a village with no one else on site except a helper who gave us the key. Even if you speak chinese, you may have difficulties speaking to the helper.

At the beginning we had a problem in finding the location, the sign board is only in Chinese. Google maps shows the destination little earlier than the actual.To reach the destination keep following the Red color flag of PasTaai Leisure Farm (written in chinese).

You need to have your own transportation and nothing is near by.

Quite and spacious place. Rooms are decent. If you just want to be out of city you may consider this.
