Not a fancy campground but the host and hostess make it a home away from home with their sincerity and warmth.

I stayed in the hostel and the floor mattress and pillow were comfortable. I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag with a rating suitable for the season. There are no air-conditioners in the bedrooms, just a fan.

There is a large table, old chairs, a sink and a small public refrigerator outside the hostel. The old toaster oven can be quite finicky to use. No water dispenser and the tap water is pumped from an underground aquifer. Not recommended for drinking so make sure to bring your own water. Expect just the minimum amenities to avoid disappointment.

The walk to 蓮台山 temple is very peaceful. It's worth a visit but it is only open on weekends. I suggest walking past it and go further for a kilometer or more (Google Maps is wrong, it's not a dead end road, it goes all the way to 泰安) to see a more pristine bamboo forest and to enjoy the solitude.
