Loved this place. Nobody can speak any English but the owners were helpful. Go in and rent rods. You only pay per rod not per person. For each rod you pay per hour. You pay at the end, so just fish with the rods and pay when you return them. They will give you a tray of bait which is dried shrimp. Keep this tray with you or they will assume you are not using it and take it away. Sit down with a clueless look where they tell you to sit and they will unravel your rod and show you how to hook the shrimp. Just bait the shrimp on the hook, put it in the water and wait. Once you do that, the shrimp will smell the bait and come. Once the bobber goes in the water pull (not too hard and not too softly) and the shrimp will be there. Grab a net from the wall and keep the shrimp in the net hanging in the water for freshness. Once you are done, clean the shrimp by rinsing, skewer them, salt them, and grill them. They will come up and help you by setting up the grill. Delicious and...
Read moreSuper chill 24h shrimping. Grab a beer, rent a fishing rob for ~350ntd an hour and chill with your friends while getting a couple of shrimp. Don't expect to get too many shrimp, ~1-2/hr is pretty good. There is everything there to cook and eat the shrimp you caught. You can also give the shrimp the the kitchen for them to prepare it for you (but that's half the fun to do it yourself). The staff does not speak English but are super nice & helpful. Someone even came while we were shrimping to give a...
Read moreWe tried this out for 1 hr on Saturday so it was fairly busy. There were 2 pools filled. 400twd seems a bit high for 1 hr but it is a fun activity. We caught 4 shrimp on 1 rod. Lots of people were having luck as well so it seems that everybody can get something. You can get bait, then you clean the shrimp, roll it in salt and bake it. You eat what you catch. There is also a menu but we did not eat there. Food looked great though. We had fun with it and enjoyed it. Shrimp...
