Shei-pa Leisure Farm — Local services in Wufeng

I was rather concern about getting there from Taipei but once i get it sorted out it was sit back and relax. Got on to the HSR from Taipei main station, half an hour later get down from Hsinchu station where my prebook taxi is waiting for me. The 2 hours journey up to the farm was enjoyable with breathtaking scenery, while some part of the road are narrow it was no problem for my driver, Mr Chen who know this area well and even give me a narration of the background of Sheipa and it's surrounding.||Sheipa Leisure Farm is pitch on the top of the hill with a panoramic view of the valley below. There is a main building block near the entrance but the wood cabins are placed along the garden well spaced out so you can enjoy the natural surrounding. The wood cabin room are spacious, clean and comfortable even thought its not luxurious. The bathroom come with heater so you won't feel too cold during winter months. The outdoor area is clean with a well maintain garden. During my stay in early march there were tulips and sakura flowers but too cold for kiwi and blue berries. The standard package include meals and walk to the Sheipa national park. I like the trek into the Giant trees park. The 2-3 hrs walk can be quite tiring but it was worth it. The other treks are easier and less demanding. After the afternoon trek it was just nice to relax at the viewing deck for a drink and enjoy the sunset. If weather is good you will see a sea of clouds rolling over the valley below. They are a choice of Chinese and western meals for dinner and lunch. It’s famous for the magnificent mountain scenery, variability cloud and fog, picturesque artificial forest, fantastic sunrise and sea of clouds, stargazing in this no light pollution area, and ofcourse, the argricultural products producted by this farm.|It’s no worry about getting bored in this farming resort, lots of hand-on activity and the tour of forest will fulfill your every minute. You can make jelly, fruit vinegar, jam and other DIY projects just depends on how much vigor you have. By the way, the content of DIY projects might change depends on the peak harvest period of agricultural products, so you might participate in different activity when in different season.|There are multiple types of room you can choose to stay, for me, I prefer the wood house to be my option. It’s spacious, bright and warm, most of all, you can enjoy the charming mountain scenery from the balcony of room. The quality of dining which included in accommodation fee was excellent, it was cost-effective, I had to say that it was difficult to find the same quality food in this remote area.
