This is an absolutely excellent place. It is truly a family owned and run coffee farm that produces simply excellent beans and honey all done on site. The family that owns this farm is delightful and welcoming. They will take visitors along the process of coffee production and finishing resulting in a sampling of their delicious coffee. Their honey is limited but from traditional African hives on site. It's a unique honey since the bees use the coffee plants and local flowers to produce. When I visited this May there was no sign by the road, but it is shown on Google Maps and immediately next to a prominent wood carvers shop (also worth visiting) on the road going to Gibb's Farm resort (aka Gibb's Farm Road) from Karatu Town. We got to pick the fruit, separate skin from bean, toss the already dried beans, pound to separate further, hand roast, hand grind and bring home both ground and whole bean.
