Mfugale Flyover — Local services in Dar es-Salaam

The first overpass/flyover in Tanzania, constructed by Japanese Construction Company. The overpass allows vehicles in one road (the Nyerere road) to pass over the intersection directly, thus reducing congestion by an estimated 80%. Dar es Salaam residents who use the Tazara intersection are now spending their time more productively instead of waiting in traffic jams. It is a vital elevated bridge that significantly reduced evening traffic congestion from the city and morning congestion from Pugu. However, there is still substantial traffic from the Temeke side. Increasing its capacity and possibly adding a second bridge is needed to completely alleviate congestion...

The place is beautiful and does make Tanzania look beautiful too to have such structures though we need one more of this kind bridges in the other direction and increased length so can real help to solve the issue of traffic jam...
