It's a very nice place, but I didn't like the general rangers' behaviour. They charge you the full cost of the boat to go there, that is 100$, which I doubt is a fair price...once on the island, you cannot do anything alone, so you can only be charger for the activities to which they add the VAT...totally unheard of in Tanzania. I spent 100$ dollars for a boat safari, which in the end it turned off to be the crew going out fishing for longtime...it's a shame because you can see hippos, elephants and crocodiles on the water, but human greed can reshape it in the worst price/quality experience in Tanzania. It's a sanctuary, but you actually cannot enjoy it. For this daily price, better go to any other safari, and you'll see way...
