A Haven of Compassion and Beauty in the Serengeti Words cannot truly capture the magic of our stay at Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Turner Springs, but I will try. From the moment we arrived, we were not just guests; we were family. The camp’s location is breathtaking, nestled perfectly in the heart of the Serengeti, offering unparalleled views and a genuine sense of being at one with nature. Waking up to the sounds of the African wilderness and watching the sunrise over the vast plains from our tent was a memory we will cherish forever. The staff at Ole Serai are nothing short of incredible. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness made every moment memorable. Every need was anticipated, every request was met with a smile, and the service was impeccable. The entire resort is a testament to luxury and thoughtfulness, with every detail meticulously planned to ensure comfort and an authentic safari experience. The tents are beautifully appointed, the communal areas are welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the true measure of a place is how it responds in a time of crisis. We experienced a medical emergency with our 10-year-old son, and the care we received was beyond anything we could have ever expected. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire team, and a special thank you to Pierre Thiart. His swift, calm, and compassionate actions were instrumental in getting our son the help he needed. He went above and beyond to ensure our son's safety and our peace of mind. He was a beacon of support during a very frightening time, and for that, we will be forever grateful. Ole Serai Luxury Camp is not just a place to see the Serengeti; it is a place where you will find unmatched beauty, genuine hospitality, and a team that cares deeply for their guests. We came to see the wildlife, but we left with a profound appreciation for the human spirit and the extraordinary people who run this camp. We recommend Ole Serai without a single reservation. It is an experience that will touch your heart and stay with you long after you’ve left. Forever grateful, Courtney Hutzul

Our family of four stayed at the Ole Serai Luxury Camps - Turner Springs - for two nights as part of our Tanzania safari trip. Of the three luxury camps we stayed in, the Ole Serai was by far the best. We had two tents (king and twin - identical size except bed configuration) were super clean and beautifully decorated. You wouldn’t have thought we were in the middle of nowhere with the amenities and thoughtfulness of the staff (eg hot water delivered nightly, replenished coffee/tea facilities, turn-down service including shading the windows). The hot water is sufficient but not super hot or strong. The camp was not fenced so we heard sounds from a lion, hyena, elephant and a family of buffalos even came close to our tents. Never did we feel unsafe as there were security patrolling the area all night long. The attentiveness of Walter (our waiter) made us feel special especially when he remembered my daughter’s food allergies: his recommendations were spot on - the food was absolutely out of this world. We can’t believe it took us to travel to Africa to eat the most amazing and freshest produce (the wild caught Nile Perch and Ginger Carrot Soup were divine). The ala carte breakfast of omelette and fried eggs were delicious. We did laundry which costed USD1-2 each and the items were returned fresh and smelly good in 24hours as promised. You could even ask the staff to set up a bonfire on request. The lounge was spacious, beautiful and well-stocked. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave the camp. The photos on their website were updated and accurate.

We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Turner Springs during a safari back in March. It would have been very easy to write a positive review when we returned as everything that we experienced was fresh and new. Now that some time has passed, it is still truly easy to write an extremely positive review. When you continue to reminisce and talk about an experience and after months it still makes you smile, you know you have done something extremely special. Everything about Ole Serai Luxury Camp was delightful. Every staff member was friendly, kind, professional and service oriented. From the manager to the greeters, to our waiter (Deli Sabini was excellent), to the chef, to the staff that did our laundry, to the gentlemen that delivered coffee to our tent in the morning, everyone absolutely spoiled us. We appreciated them all! The tents were comfortable and complete with everything that you could want or need. The location was beautiful and perfect for exploring the area. Asante Sana to all at Ole Serai Luxury Camp for a memorable and wonderful...
