We had stayed 3 nights in Osero Tented Camp in Serengeti in March, 2025. | would like to mention following points :
Location : The camp is not only located inside Serengeti National Park but it is actually located at an area in central Serengeti which is a prime territory of a pride of Lions. Just 50 meters from the reception, there was 3 lions roaming around. All night, we heard the roaring of lions. Even, we saw one lion passing beside our tent. Just around 300 meters from the camp, we saw 3 cheetahs hunting an impala.
Safety: During our stay, me along with my wife were the only guests in the entire camp. In remote african forest of Serengeti full of predators, we never felt unsafe for a single moment. The staffs were extremely polite and friendly. Everytime, we got out of our tent, some of them, escorted us to restaurant and back.
Accomodation: our tent was super spacious and luxurious. It was huge ggammeze with two king size beds with big mi wash basin, flush toilet, shower are balcony. Each tent has separate Wi fi router, Multiple charging ports.
Food: the food was very tasty, plentiful and most importantly was not repetitive. Apart of breakfast, lunch and dinner, they used to give us freshly baked cashews and cappuccino after full day of game drive.
Game drive: We arranged the game drives from the camp itself. They have association with a company named “Dusty Roads". Our guide Geoffrey was a very nice, friendly guy. We always felt safe with him. He has a superb skill of spotting and identifying the animals from far. In one word, Osero tented camp hasvexceeded our...

Read moreGreat location. Clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money. Big tents. We did a self drive and self planned safari to Serengeti in June 2021. Osero was perfectly located - approximately 21 km from Seronera on the Lobo hills road. It would be a very good location for either when the migration was heading south or north. Camp was fabulous. Tents were large and very comfortable. Showers were hot. Food was delicious and well presented. Portion sizes good. Coffee and tea station available all day. Staff very friendly and professional. Pineal, the camp manager even came to find us as we were arriving in the late afternoon and did not have a GPS or driver! We heard lions and hyena from all directions. Lovely bonfire to enjoy. Good rechargeable torches provided. Charging station in room for electronic equipment. Staff very concerned about client safety at night and always escorted us to your tent. Free Wifi. Card machine in camp would be a good idea. Perhaps Safari vehicles could park behind camp and out of sight on the bush view. We spent 3 very enjoyable nights at Osero. Would...
