Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp — Local services in Ikoma

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in this lovely lodge and we only have amazing words about this place and its staff, all of them wonderful people that made our experience way beyond our expectations. They had some special treats and surprises we enjoyed very much. A special acknowledgment for the camp manager, Bonus, Marshal and Emmanuelle who kindly accompanied us, helped with our luggage, and told us incredible stories about Serengeti and its lands. We were delighted to spend 3 nights at Signature, our tent was clean, mosquito-free and well equipped. They offered us an extra blanket so we didn’t have any cold during the night and briefed us everything we needed to know during our stay. The food in the restaurant is delicious, we enjoyed every meal and the chef was very professional and kind. Absolutely one of the best experiences of me and my husbands life! A truly stunning location, the tents met our expectations and filled our dreams of a remote Safari tent experience. In the afternoons you may find Zebras or other grazing wildlife next to your tent. The manager was incredible, he made us feel very welcomed and cared for, in addition to great company. To celebrate the guests on honeymoon the staff members planned a cake and celebratory song and dance that we will always remember. The food is good, simple, but with treats like Nutella for breakfast (which is amazing if you consider how isolated you are). Another great point about this location is that it is a locally owned business, which is great, many hotels or tents are owners by foreigners and don't benefit the local economy as much. The guys at the Signature Serengeti Luxury Camp were the absolute best at making our stay wonderful. They greeted us warmly, handing us warm towels upon arrival, and wouldn't let us lift a finger to carry even our backpacks! Our room was impeccable, clean and luxurious. After each day of safari we had great hot showers. They even provided a little box outside the room for our shoes so the hyena's wouldn't run off with them (who knew)! The food was the best we had on safari so we were very happy to spend 3 nights there. They even celebrated us with singing and a cake on our last night because we'd stayed for 3 nights... apparently a long stay for safari camps. All in all it was a fabulous way to see the Serengeti, even hearing the animals just outside our tents at night. 5 star...
