Our stay at Tarangire Tortilis Camp was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Tarangire landscape — acacia-dotted hills, roaming elephants, and golden sunsets that felt almost dreamlike. The camp itself blends seamlessly into this natural wonder, offering the perfect balance of luxury and authentic safari atmosphere.

Under the exceptional leadership of Mr. Keiphasi Elia Palanjo, the entire team radiates warmth and professionalism. Every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome, and the attention to detail in both service and comfort was outstanding. A special mention goes to Mr. Paulo Olomi at the reception and bar, whose friendliness, local knowledge, and gracious hospitality made each interaction a pleasure.

The food was another highlight — freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and truly delicious, featuring a thoughtful mix of local and international flavors. Dining under the stars after a day of safari adventures was pure magic.

I highly recommend this camp to anyone who wants a great experience, safety and the warmth of the people. I would give more stars if I could choose more. We travelled with children (11,8,8) and we felt so welcome and safe. The views are amazing. Joseph the manager made us feel like at home, very at ease. The chef has nothing to envy to a Michelin start chef, we had the most delicious soup (flavoured orange carrot soup) amazing curry lamb and delicious home made herb bread, every product high quality. I can’t still remember the taste and smell of that delicious meal. I wish I could have stayed there the whole time, but we need it to cover many km. Accommodation is excellent with superb decor in the tents. You have everything that you need. The staff in Tarangire Tortilis Camp made our stay just wonderful . They were an unbelievable team who I will keep in my memories and my heart. I am bringing each of them in my memories. Professional, polite, full of dedication and taking pride of what they do. Two weeks ago we returned from our trip to Tanzania, where we stayed in very different hotels, but the one that left us with the best memories was the Tortilis Tarangire tented camp. Why? Not only because it is a camp in the middle of the natural park, surrounded by wild nature and animals, totally integrated in it, with a lot of charm, where the tents offered as much comfort as the best urban hotel, but mainly because of the extraordinary kindness and professionalism of its staff, led by Piero, its Manager. We have been in other tented camps, just as beautiful, but this one will remain forever in our memory, hearts and soul, precisely because of this great team. Once arrived, they come to welcome you singing and dancing, the same when you leave, they talk to you proudly about their country and, in short, they make your stay an unforgettable experience and a place you will always want to come back to.
