Mwanza Lake View Farm & Eco lodge — Local services in Mwanza Region

I am from France, I am traveling with my sister, one month, in self driving all around Tanzania, this place is one of the best, also first real hot shower (not only in the paper) ! The camp-site for tented is in progress, soon full of flower, and with a roof, place to park the car... But finally, we fall in love with the permanent-tent and we choose one in the middle of the garden! What else?

Very amazing green place! Tropical gardens, color full, nice sounds (wave and birds) , like a promenade h24!

Flower, veggie, soon a swiming pool (in progress) and now awesome front beach, several chill and relax place between shade in the garden, coconut tree on the beach, and restaurant so cosy, so warm and friendly...

Soap in the bath room, paper toilets, electriciry in the tente, everything clean... Bed are new and comfortable... Road is well indicated, good signe, location is easy to find. We feel welcome, Baraka makes is best for us... He makes us feel like at home... He is also the cooker, and what a surprise ! The best diner of this all month! Veggie from the garden, fresh fish from the lake, all well prepared, species and mixed together was very tasty... Breakfast is included, I wish I could stay longer.... just to eat more!! Not a camping, but some Safari Tent and Bandas (should be reclassified in trip advisor). This Eco-lodge is a perfect stop when traveling between the west side of Serengeti and the Tanganika or Rwanda. Rooms are basic but nice, food is great, and the beach (don't forget it's Victoria Lake, not Zanzibar!) is quiet and clean. Baraka was a nice host and can organise some walking tour around or a boat trip on the lake. Staying there is a great opportunity to help a bit the community...
