My home in the wild! With the warm welcome from the team in the camp, the smell of nature (grass), there is no better place to connect to nature. The tented lodge is a safe haven from the wildlife that could possibly visit uninvited. The canvas also provides perfect shield from the cold in the night. I'd wanted to keep the canvas rolled up by as the sun sets, the chill came in and we had the canvas rolled down in the end. The team put up a great birthday surprise for us. Dinner is usually communal, with the other guest. But the team brought us away to a quiet corner and we had a bush dinner, under the moonlit sky! To ensure our safety, one of the staff stayed with us throughout, keeping a lookout of unwanted 'guests'. The meal was sumptuous and of restaurant standard. Our dinner ended with the staff surprise birthday cake and dance. We had such good time with the team. Kudos to all in Naona Moru for your dedicated service and attention to the little details to make our stay perfect. We hope to come back again.

We absolutely loved how secluded, remote and authentic this lodge was. Being truly impressed by what they accomplished in the heart of the Serengeti, so far from any major food or electricity supply, made the experience even more remarkable. The intimate size - just 6 tents - made it feel incredibly special and exclusive. We loved being so far from everything, completely immersed in the wilderness. The staff made our stay incredible with their dedication and service in such a remote location. We felt so lucky to experience this level of authenticity and remoteness. An unforgettable Serengeti experience.

We had two amazing nights here with Justin, Sam and the rest of the wonderful team at Naona who all made us feel so welcome. Our tent was tucked away at the end of the camp so we had incredible views and a special feeling of being alone in the Serengeti. The tent was beautiful, so spacious. The food was delicious, it was great to start with a nice warming bowl of soup and fresh bread after a long day of driving. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Asante sana!

Campsite in the central Western Hills of Serengeti National Park. Tent has everything you need (running water, mosquito nets, etc), but remember this IS a tented campsite, so water pressure won't be the strongest. There is a central lounge with a bar, and many interesting books about Africa, safaris, the wildlife, etc., to while away any downtime between safaris, or in the evening. The food is great, and on Christmas day we had dinner under the stars. The food is great, and the staff are amazing, very warm and friendly. Note that you are sleeping in the wild, and so all the accompanying noises will be present...
