Very special temple with a brilliant historical mural inside the golden spire, depicting Buddhist roots from its Hindu origins. The reclining Buddha is astonishingly beautiful.. and like many others, hidden from view, until you walk around to explore the temple complex. We were very happy to visit this place during our visit to Amnat Charoen.

A wonderful and beautiful place on top of the mountain. Calm and serene place. Plenty of toilets, so no worries. Big sala hall. Please bring your own tent of you plan to stay overnight with permission from abbot. A newly opened beautiful Uposatha Hall. A big reclining Buddha with the hand in different position.

The temple on top of the hill driving through the narrow road carefully until reaching the entrance where there are 2 golden lions welcoming you. The main wood chapel is built with Thai arts. There is also a big lying Lord Buddha's sculpture inside next from the praying hall. And don't forget to visit the golden pagoda where there are beautiful painting on the wall inside too. วัดบนเขา ทางไปทางเดียวกันกับวัดถ้ำแสงเพชร แต่แยกไปคนละทางกันตรงสี่แยกที่มีน้องๆรอดักขายดอกไม้อยู่ ด้านบนวัดมีศาลาไทยทรงสวยงามอยู่ตรงกลางโดดเด่น มีพระพุทธรูปทองคำเป็นองค์ประธาน และภายในวัด ด้านข้างศาลาการเปรียญจะมีพระพุทธรูปใหญ่ปางไสยาสน์อยู่ด้วย ด้านบนก็มีเจดีย์สีทองข้างในมีรูปหล่อของหลวงพ่อชาและงานจิตรกรรมภาพวาดฝาผนังเกี่ยวกับพุทธประวัติสวยงามมากครับ
