Flora Ville Golf & Country Club — Bangkok’s Hidden Mid-Range Gem for Golfers Who Love a Challenge (and a Good Bargain)
Nestled just about 40 minutes from downtown Bangkok, Flora Ville Golf & Country Club is a course that pleasantly surprised me. It’s like a secret handshake among Bangkok golfers: solid course, reasonable price, but you better bring your A-game (and a few extra balls if you slice).
⛳️ Pricing
All-in price around THB 2,350 for green fee, caddy, and cart. Honestly, a steal compared to many other Bangkok courses with half the personality.
✅ What’s Good • Layout: Great design with lots of water hazards and well-placed bunkers to keep you honest. Not just “hit driver and pray” holes—requires proper thinking. • Smart Carts: Every cart is fitted with a touchscreen GPS system that shows yardage and lets you customize your scorecard. (Finally! No more squinting at stone markers halfway buried in weeds.) • Caddies: Super attentive, knowledgeable about the course, and friendly enough to make a round even more enjoyable. • Condition: Fairways are lush, greens are playable (though the green speed is slow and uneven between some holes—pack your patience). • Night Golf: Yes, night golf is available… but not every day. Always call ahead to avoid standing around looking confused.
❗️Where It Can Improve • Green Speed: Inconsistent green speed is a minor heartbreaker—one hole plays like Augusta, the next plays like molasses uphill. • Floodlight Quality: During night golf, the lighting is patchy in some zones. Think “romantic dinner” lighting, not “perfect visibility for your 8-iron.” Again, check in advance if you’re aiming for an evening round. • Restaurant: Food is tasty but leans on the pricey side. A plate of pad kra pao might remind you that you’re in a golf resort, not a street food stall.
🛍️ Facilities • Modern locker rooms and pro shop. • Nice chill-out restaurant and decent halfway houses. • Good parking availability. • No driving range on site, unfortunately, so bring your best “first swing” energy.

⭐ Final Thoughts
Flora Ville offers a fantastic mix of affordability, challenge, and decent service. It’s not perfect (slow greens and patchy lights can be a love-hate affair), but it punches well above its price tag.
If you’re looking for a fun, challenging day close to Bangkok—and don’t mind navigating a few water hazards—this is a must-try. Perfect for casual golfers, intermediate players, and anyone who appreciates a smart cart over a blind guess.

Read moreFlora Ville is a true gem for golfers in Bangkok, especially now that they’ve launched night golf 🌙⛳️ The course is in great shape — fairways are well-kept and the greens roll smooth and fast, perfect for those who enjoy a more polished round. One of the standout features is the caddy service: professional, friendly, and well-trained, making the whole round more enjoyable.
The new night golf experience is a game-changer. Lighting is excellent, giving you a completely different vibe without compromising visibility. It’s cooler, quieter, and simply more relaxing to play in the evening.
The clubhouse and locker room are another level — modern, spacious, and well-equipped. After your round, it’s a great place to unwind with a cold drink or a proper meal. The whole facility is designed with comfort in mind, and you really feel welcomed here.
Highly recommended for both serious players and social golfers. Whether you’re teeing off at sunrise or under the lights, Flora Ville delivers quality, comfort, and class all in one place. Definitely worth a visit for anyone passionate about...
Read moreThis golf course exceeded my expectations in many areas. First, staff members greeted me with a smile entering the premises - 5 stars. Second, the locker room and shower booth are excellent with all the necessities, including comb and hair dryers. Third, the golf course field condition is above average for the price. I noticed they use high-quality divot replacement sand, which is rare unless it's high-end golf courses (see my pictures for reference). The greens were not bad and were able to withstand heavy rain for thirty minutes. Fourth, they use a smart scorecard system for you to track everything. Fifth, the proshop has all the necessary items you need, including 200 baht lake balls for people who will dunk it back to the water hazards again 😆 🤣. Overall, it was a very excellent place to play a round. The only downside is no practice range, I wish they had a practice net for us to warm up hitting a few balls (10 minutes max). I believe weather siren is needed as well to warn players of imminent thunderstorm so that they can drive to snack bar shelter...
