Read moreA great spot outside the city to enjoy some time in nature and on the water. It was my first time ever and the staff were pretty accommodating. I did feel I could have been given a better initial “how-to” as I’ve never wakeboarded before. I was initially told by the rental staff to use footing that was complete opposite of how I snowboard; to have my dominate foot in the front. This meant that my first hour I flopped on my face a lot. When another member of staff suggested I tried regular stance (which I use for snowboarding) I was immediately able to get up and ride. I felt foolish for not having been told this correctly since the beginning. I guess it built up my perseverance but when you have to wait ten minutes in line only to flop on your face time and time again...well, it would have been nice to have been told how to do it properly right away. Overall, highly recommend the experience but would like the staff to ensure they’re giving the correct information to all first time riders. Also the surroundings are beautiful! Even if you don’t want to ride and just want a wonderful place to spend the day...
Read moreMassive disappointment, looks like it had potential but unfortunately all the rental equipment is rubbish and or broken, they didn't even have a set of boots to fit a size 10. We did get a refund, unfortunately it wasn't enough to appease our frustrations considering we traveled across the world to get there and wasted a day of our holiday getting disappointed.
In response to your reply, the only size ten you had were broken with no heel support and ripped through to the back of the boot. When I asked your staff if there was anything else availible in my size they said no. The level of the equipment you had available is not the issue, it was the condition of the equipment that is my complaint as again according to your staff there were no unbroken bindings availible. You can not expect people to pay money to travel half way across the world, pay alot of money on flights and transfers to get to your establishment to only find broken equipment, when they have been informed previously that there was...
