Then they are posting this taxi fares board, but if you are a foreigner they will not give you the receipt of the price estimate they made. They will give it directly to the taxi driver! I saw they give the local who queued before me the receipt but they didnt give mine. When i am already in the taxi i saw the receipt and i am being charged of 160 baht but if you will follow whats written in the fare guide it should be only around 80 baht (my hotel is only 9km from the airport) I asked the taxi why there's such difference, i showed the taxi fare guide i took picture of using my phone and google map that shows my hotel is only 9km away. The taxi took me back to the airport. Then i talked to the airport counter - the lady in the counter said its + 50 baht for the airport (which is no where to be found in the board so how can i believe) and even thats the case, 84 baht (9.33 km) (according to the taxi fare board) plus 50 is only 134 baht. I showed the computation to the lady then she started making stupid reasons like bec its limousine taxi, law etc etc. Come on, she knows im only alone and only carrying a backpack, why would i need bigger taxi. I ended up walking outside the airport and found a decent taxi that agree...
