Maple Gardens - สวนเมเปิ้ล — Local services in Kanchanaburi Province

Honestly, everything was beautiful, but my experience was ruined by an unfaithful seller at a fruit stall located beside the entry. I was buying longan and another fruit for 180 baht. After using a coupon, the total was reduced to 160 baht. We had already given her 50 baht and were looking for the rest of the money.

When we handed it to her, she claimed it was still not enough. We were confused because we were certain we had already given her the 50 baht. We tried to explain, but she kept insisting we hadn’t. She started speaking in Thai, but I could tell she was calling us liars and thieves.

Eventually, we gave in and decided to pay the "remaining" amount. Then, she handed us the change. Guess what? The change included our original 50 baht. I knew because I had folded the money in a particular way, so I was sure it was mine. I even pointed this out to her, but she still called me a liar....

A place perfect for photo-ops. I commend the landscape artist especially the flower farm area - it's a floral fantasy (sic)! They have some copy-cat of Singapore's 'super tree' at Garden's by the Bay. However, it's not as huge as the ones in Sg but good enough for photo-ops and the 'feels'. There were a lot of hanging bottle gourds along the pathwalk going to the flower garden. There's also free longgan - take only what you can eat because it is not allowed to be taken out - so have your fill while you are inside. Shaded chairs and picnic areas are also free to use. If you suddenly feel hungry or thirsty, do not worry since food and drinks can be bought inside. Ticket price is 120 and you can use the ticket as 20B discount when you buy fruits or vegetables at the market...

It was almost evening and the place will soon be closed. As I walked into the Maple Gardens, I was reminded of my visit to teh Miracle Garden in Dubai. It is almost the same thing except that the Dubai garden is way bigger than this one. However, it is man-made in an unnatural environment and everything is well-placed and well-paced. I would have love a natural environment, rather than this man-made one. There is one great thing here. We get to eat as much as we want the fruits that are in season and provided by the place.
