Wat Sawang Arom is a temple affiliated with the Dhammayuttika Nikaya monastic order, located in Moo 9, Ban Klong Dan Pak Ao, Klong Dan Sub-district, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province.

Commonly referred to as "Wat Lang" or "Wat Ban Lang" by the locals, it is situated in the area near the seashore at the mouth of the Gulf of Thailand. This name originated from the association with the renowned monk, Phra Khru Piphathorn Kij, also known as Luang Por Pan, from Wat Bang Hiang Nok (currently Wat Mongkol Khotawas). The temple was granted the royal consecration on January 25, 1909. Over time, the temple underwent significant deterioration, prompting a complete renovation in 1957. It received another royal consecration on November 4, 1966.

The original ubosot (ordination hall) built by Luang Por Pan was submerged by the rising sea level. Mangrove trees and plant roots covered the area, making the hall almost invisible. The temple managed to rebuild the entire structure in 1957. A subsequent royal consecration was granted on November 4, 1966.

In preparation for the centenary celebration in 2009, the temple underwent significant changes. The lower part of the main hall was filled with marine sediment. The temple cleared the area, removed trees, and exposed the lower part of the hall. Additionally, a replica of Luang Por Pan's image was cast and placed in front of the main hall. The temple discovered an ancient stone-carved tiger, believed to be a prototype of Luang Por Pan's tiger.
