I was en route to Pak Khlong on a bicycle and dropped in at this temple while passing by.

There was a 'special function' going on, and I went to the canteen where many people had gathered.

I asked for some water ... and was offered more than I could have wanted: a bottle of water, a sweet red drink and a complete dinner of my choosing.

It seemed to me that everyone looking in my direction was happy to see me and smiling. For me, this typifies the human aspect of "Amazing Thailand".

Many thanks to everyone at the function, especially the two most considerate ladies who made sure that more food was brought to me without my asking when my plate was nearing empty, food that I had to decline because I could not finish it all.
