Visited in Feb 2023 for a 10 day retreat. The Sangha were very compassionate. Even though I did not understand Thai, the English speaking Monks were very kind to translate the talks and Q&A during the retreat so that all of us could understand.
It was my first meditation retreat and had a very pleasant experience. Much gratitude for the Sangha for organising and for allowing such an opportunity. Also very inspiring to see local Thai laypeople offer to the monks.
Most of the talks are also available online on youtube, and livestreamed on zoom, so thats really nice as well if you can't visit due to work...
Read moreBeautiful place for practice! Luang Por Anan runs a very dedicated Sangha, and although he doesn’t speak English is available for interviews with a foreign monk as a translator. The monastery is big and full of natural life; one can find many places suitable for meditation -there are two main halls and also a Vihara for Goddess of Mercy which is so lovely.
