Visited in Feb 2023 for a 10 day retreat. The Sangha were very compassionate. Even though I did not understand Thai, the English speaking Monks were very kind to translate the talks and Q&A during the retreat so that all of us could understand. It was my first meditation retreat and had a very pleasant experience. Much gratitude for the Sangha for organising and for allowing such an opportunity. Also very inspiring to see local Thai laypeople offer to the monks. Most of the talks are also available online on youtube, and livestreamed on zoom, so thats really nice as well if you can't visit due to work commitments.

Beautiful place for practice! Luang Por Anan runs a very dedicated Sangha, and although he doesn’t speak English is available for interviews with a foreign monk as a translator. The monastery is big and full of natural life; one can find many places suitable for meditation -there are two main halls and also a Vihara for Goddess of Mercy which is so lovely. Female lodgings are comfortable, clean and peaceful. Strongly recommend visiting and staying Wat Marp Jan. Thank to all the Sangha and lay community for such deep and life changing experience.

Quite a good place to practice dhamma. If you are a newcomer here, you have to apply online beforehand, and they will only accept you the first 10 days of the month. On the weekdays, the dormitories are pretty vacant. I met one foreign man who was ordained just two weeks here, though he said he was a long time supporter of the temple. There are quite a few long term foreign monks here. I spotted at least 6 or 7. If you ordain here, don't expect to be able to keep your SIM card though. They will take it away.
