Though this historical sim was registered as a national ancient monument in 2001 nothing is being done to preserve the intricate “folk” murals and it precious handcrafted wood work. It is definitely a historical treasure but not yet appreciated by the community. This peaceful wat is worth visiting if you appreciate old wat architecture. The countryside is also beautiful.

มาบ้านที่ร้อยเอ็ดทุกปี ผ่านวัดนี้ทุกครั้งที่มา แต่เพิ่งรู้ว่าที่นี่มีโบราณสถานอายุ 100 กว่าปี สร้างตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 เสียดายที่ไม่ได้เข้าไปดูภาพเขียนข้างใน เข้ามาวัดไม่เจอใครเลย จะขึ้นไปก็ไม่กล้า...
