Ban Tha Oi Viewpoint — Local services in Satun Province

Regrettably, this spot appears neglected, and despite offering pleasant views, it's only worth a detour from the main road if you have ample time. Upon arrival, one is greeted by a oversized parking area capable of accommodating over 20 buses, alongside a prominent sign indicating the viewpoint (also dubbed the selfie spot). However, the viewpoint overlooking the river itself is in poor condition with dilapidated seating benches and rusty metal structures. Adjacent to it is what appears to be a brand-new jetty for boats or an open air function hall, but it stands devoid of amenities such as tables or seating. Actually worth checking out. Take your own drinks and snacks though. Nice areas to sit and chill out on the pier. Nice gardens and alot of marine info. Its a Unesco site. Nice place just for a walk or a picnic maybe .just looks a little run down and just as we were about to enjoy the view they blasted music out of the speakers as loud as possible all the way down the walk way. A bit strange when...
