“Ephesus Tour with Turkish Breakfast” was everything we could have hoped for - and more! Breakfast was in a beautiful setting with many seating options literally from the ground up! We loved sitting on the floor and experiencing this traditional way of eating. The food was bountiful and each bite more delicious than the one before. Our guide Rtaner gave us a unique insight into Turkish life and cuisine. The conversation was as plentiful as the food! This meal was a highlight of our entire 3 week vacation.

Eventually we tore ourselves away from the table and moved on to Ephesus. Rtaner brought the ruins to life for us with his commentary. He gave just the right amount of detail for our interests. This was another bonus to the breakfast since it had given us time to get to know each other and our expectations.

We were delivered back to Kusadasi with plenty of time to explore the port area and re-board our cruise ship.

In terms of the booking process, it was very easy and straightforward via WhatsApp. Queries were answered and confirmations sent almost instantaneously. We had a lot of confidence in the company even before arriving, and we would not hesitate at all to use Ephesus Travel Guide again for any future travel in Turkey. 100%...

We highly recommend the tour of Ephesus that Denizhan Pekoz and members of his tour company leads. From the first time that we inquired about a tour, he was nothing but extremely professional. All of the information he gave us before the tour was clear and very helpful, and there were no unpleasant surprises, only pleasant ones! He and his driver picked us up from the port in a very comfortable van. On the tour and while driving from site to site we learned so much more from his extremely informative tour than we ever expected we would; from information about Turkey itself, to most likely every single fact about the history of Ephesus that a visitor should learn and be aware of, to very interesting information about nature, industry, history, current events in Turkey and everything in between! Denizhan is such an interesting person with an incredible knowledge base! He took care of all our needs including the driver helping my 80-year-old mother in and out of the van and giving a suggestion about where we could eat lunch. They were so kind and thoughtful, and we appreciated every aspect of how we spent the day with them. We highly recommend them and wish them all the best in their future as a very excellent...

An excellent, well thought out and planned guided tour. Our meeting rendezvous at port disembarkation was punctual. Air conditioned transport was roomy, clean, and well maintained. We were a group of 6 people. Our guide was very friendly and attentative to our aspirations for the day. As a private tour and with local knowledge we were able to avoid competing travellers at several of the visited sites.

Our primary aim was to visit the site of Ephesus and also the (possible) site of the Virgin Mary's House. Through our guide we learned a great deal of the religious, social and political history, whilst responsive also to our questions. Indeed, the enthusiasm and great knowledge of our guide was second to none.

The choice of lunch venue that incorporated a tour of a government supported Turkish carpet making enterprise was a delight. If you want to see how the silk is spun and manufactured then this is an absolute bonus. The location itself was serene, the local cuisine excellent.

Nothing was too much trouble for our guide. Other local crafts to visit enroute include pottery and leather making. There's certainly no obligation to buy anything.

All in all, a thoroughly informative, enjoyable, and...

I found the company through great reviews online and Denizhan was very responsive from the beginning stages of planning the customized tour until the day of the tour. It was easy to plan everything through whatsapp and he answered every question I had. We were coming from Istanbul and arranged our own roundtrip flight to Izmir airport. The car ride from Izmir to Selcuk (Ephesus) and back was nice and we had a comfortable van. We had a very informative tour with Denizhan. He knows a great deal of historical and Biblical information about the area and the sites we went to. He doesn’t waste any second as there was so much to know about the place so be sure to tell him that you want a quick picture before moving on to the next spot! :) He also took us to a stop that sells local ceramic and we ended up buying souvenirs from the place as the quality was good. I highly recommend staying overnight in the area to see nearby places if you have time. I wish we had done that. But I definitely recommend Denizhan for a private tour of Ephesus and the surrounding area! Very impressive guide who truly knows a great deal about history. You can tell how passionate he is about his job and the local area.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Orchuns company in January. They responded to our queries on WhatsApp instantly. Arranged our transfer from Izmir airport and we drove into Ephasus. We met Orchun at the Basilica. He was so kind and allowed us to use the coffee shop WiFi to book our accommodation as we had not finalized it as yet. We had a bite to eat after our travels and walked across the road to enter the marvelous ruins. We had been very taken aback by how much of an expert Orchun was. He is fluent in English and is captivating in his story telling. He speaks of the tales and brings everything to life in such a memorable way. We walked the streets, met local people. He was quite well know amongst the community and very polite. Orchun was patient. He answered all our questions and was very accommodating when we needed to take pictures. Both Orchun and the driver were very flexible and thoroughly took great care of us. My highlights were the Virgin Marys home and the city of Ephasus. I absolutely recommend this tour guide. They are truly professional.

When I was looking for a good guide in Kuşadası, I decided to choose Ephesus Travel Guide. It was one of the best decisions during my trip. We not only visited the ruins of Ephesus and the place where the Temple of Artemis had been built, but also saw the modern pottery manufacturing process and carpet weaving. I strongly recommend Mrs. Filiz as a tour guide. She is really the best one I've ever seen! Filiz is very talkative, has a perfect knowledge of the history of Ephesus, and speaks English fluently. We had a fascinating 8-hour tour filled with useful information that helped me understand more about the lifestyle of ancient citizens.
