Demokrasi ve Özgürlükler Island — Local services in Prince Islands

A nice place for those who had already seen other Prince's islands. You can come there by water on Saturday and Sunday. The ferry boat departs from Kadıköy (Ida berth).

September 9 2023 it cost me 300 tl for a round trip. 10:00 departs from Kadıköy and 16:00 departs from Island. The trip is 1 hour. After arrival you have to go inside the sports stadium to watch historical anime about Turkish democracy. There are eng subs but you can't see anything) so just relax and hear the story in Turkish.

I got a nice recommendation from a turkish friend to vist this little and very beautiful and elegantly organized island which located in the Marmara sea. It is here where the trial of Turkey's  former Prime Minister Adnan Menderes and his friends took place.  It also includes the memories of Adnan Menderes and his friends, and was firstly opened to visitors in 2020. We took a boat arranged by "Ido" company from Kadiköy. The trip took about one hour to reach the island, and turned back at the same day.
