It's called outdoors for a very good reason, being there, you will forget all gadgets and just live in the moment. It is hard to believe that 3km off the tarmac, you find such a nature gem. The ambience, scenery, and nature vibes are on point. Irrespective of the low network connectivity esp. MTN, it really didn't even matter. The fun out can't allow you to even look at the screen. The area is very spacious, with a well labelled permaculture establishment, and such a cool space by the pool side. For a romantic getaway & photoshoot We went on such a hot day, but the swim was refreshing and cool. The cottages are cushioned from mosquitos that there is no nets at all. As I conclude this, after traveling across, the outdoors has the freshest foods i have had at any place so far, most the foods are grown on site, vegetables and the rest, the chef was so on point that we thought of staying for a week just to have more pork ribs, fish, & sukuma. Read moreIf you love nature. This is an awesome place. If you have pollen allergies then you might have to carry some preventive therapy coz there are lots of plants, flowers and trees. Ample parking both at the reception and residential area. Food is awesome, but waiting time can be as long as 40min especially if you are a large group, so order early. They are about 4km from the main Tarmac road and the road leading up to the facility it a murram road (dirt road) and very bumpy so what would take about 4 to 5min drive can almost take 10min. The rooms are amazing, very clean, hot water, some rooms don't have TVs, fans or Air con The network is quite poor and the Internet is even worse. With the tall trees, the log cabins, the forest walk, fresh food and good company, lets just say I recorded by lowest resting heart rate in a long time here. ||I enjoyed the morning forest walk, learning about the trees and the birds and their unique calls. The guide was very knowledgeable. ||The food is delightful and the staff are eager to please.
