An exciting one-day journey to Medvyno Safari Park, the first of its kind in Ukraine

On Saturday, 21 June 2025, representatives of the diplomatic corps, including the Ambassador of Indonesia and his wife, staff members of the Embassies of Mexico and Denmark, as well as delegates from the UNHCR Representation in Ukraine, visited Medvyno Safari Park, the first of its kind in Ukraine. This is a place where the wilderness meets comfort, and animals dwell in harmony with the environment without cages or artificial constraints. The foreign guests marvelled at the sight of numerous fallow deer and noble stags, bison and Przewalski’s horses, as well as buffalo, Turkmen kulans, Carpathian wolves and marmots. They also had the opportunity to hand-feed and pet camels, llamas and roe deer. During the enthralling jeep safari in open-top vehicles, the guide shared fascinating stories about the animals, which they saw at arm’s length away, and showed the park’s most scenic spots. It was a true escape into the wilderness for the employees of foreign missions. This experience left them with unforgettable emotions. Equally delightful was the gourmet lunch served to the diplomats, featuring exquisite, freshly prepared dishes and a cheese tasting that included sulguni, Circassian cheese, traditional Ukrainian cheese, and a hard cheese with fenugreek — all produced on the local eco-farm. The culinary journey continued with tastings of local artisan spirits: vyshnivka (cherry liqour), lymonivka (lemon liquor), horobyna (rowanberry liqueur), medovukha (honey liqour) and khrinovukha (horseradish liqour). The guests were also delighted by a guided visit to the sturgeon farm, where they saw some of the key sturgeon varieties bred in Ukraine, particularly sterlet, Far Eastern sturgeon, and beluga: from tiny hatchlings to impressively large specimens. The farm has created perfect conditions for breeding, with fish raised in closed tanks featuring advanced climate control and water circulation systems. Afterwards, everyone had the chance to savour freshly grilled sturgeon. The dish was highly praised by its clean, rich flavour without any unwanted aftertaste. His Excellency Mr Arief Muhammad Basalamah, Ambassador of Indonesia to Ukraine, remarked: ‘When we received the invitation, we were surprised to learn that safari parks exist in Ukraine. My wife and I were eager to experience such a place. And everything we saw exceeded our expectations. We were truly delighted to encounter so many content animals roaming freely across this vast territory. Деякій час я шукала місце де провести "team building" за своїм сином. Інстаграм та FB пістрів постами про Медвін. Мені здалося, що це класне місце де ми здобудемо ще одну яскраву картинку проведеного разом часу. Ключове слово здавалося.

Додзвонитися за номером телефону майже не можливо. Відповідають на кожне повідомлення через 30/40 хвилин.

Приїхавши у Медвино, у нас була запланована індивідуальна екскурсія на баггі. Ніхто не попередив, що під час подорожі ми зберемо тону пилу.

Сидіння перед поїздкою ніхто не протирав. Тільки після. Тому оці всі відео, як все класно.. тільки відео).

Екскурсоводом була дівчина Марина. Не можу сказати, що ми залишились у захваті, на мій погляд дуже суха подача інформації. Є місця, куди приходиш, і відчуваєш, що людина, яка працює в музеї, чи на виставці, живе тим, чим займається. Тут такого не відчувалось. В ночі, коли вже з сином спали, нам декілька разів дзвонила дитина екскурсовода.

Ви приїжджаєте в Медвино, та в Вас бачать тільки гроші, і ціль, зробити так, щоб Ви їх тратили. Що цілком логічно, але за це хотілось би отримати, гарне відношення до клієнта.

Після закінчення екскурсії, ми повинні були їхати у глемпінг, на питання, чи нас там зустрінуть, покажуть все, сказали так: «почекаєте коли приїде адміністратор». Чому ми маємо чекати, не зрозуміло.

Приїхали, адміністратор приїхала доволі швидко, але Ви для неї пусте місце, Вона не зацікавлена в Вас. В неї немає життя, але це так ліріка.

В описі написано, що глемпі є засіб від комах. Немає.

Також немає бумажних серветок.

Є дві плоскі тарілки і глибокі. Чим їх мити не зрозуміло.

Замовили сніданок. Адміністратор сказала о 09:00 сніданок буде на столі.

9:20 - привезли ледве теплий омлет. Млинці не привезли. Замовляла сік, привезли газовану воду. На запитання, де масло? млинці? відповідь була: «не я готую сніданки». Але Ви приймаєте замовлення.

Пів вечора, напроти нашого глемпу стояла машина адміністратора. Природа, ліс, птахи, звуки природи та червона шкода, з адміністратором.

Ні вибачень, нічого від цієї людини не було.

Мій висновок такий: Якщо Ви не селебріті та не блогер, Вам туди їхати не треба. Клієнтського підходу 0.

Якщо ви все ж таки поїдете, мої поради: баггі в цілому це класно. не вдягайте світлий одяг, він буде темним. візьміть платок та окуляри, щоб одягти поки Ви їдете на баггі. Завдяки цим атрибутам, Ви зможете зберегти собі очі, та не надихатися пилюкою.

Якщо Ви будете ночувати в глемпі: беріть з собою губку та миючий засіб для посуду. Ми у вечорі використали 4 тарілки, мити посуд було нічим, тому ми все ж таки чекали на цей жахливий сніданок, та не могли заварити собі кашу. в глемпі немає засобів від комах. Опис на сайті невірний. можна придбати на місці - ціна 200грн. в глемпі немає звичайних бумажних серветок. є чайник, немає жодного пакетику чаю, чи кави. є одіяло з підігрівом, але в ночі воно вимкнулось, і ми прокинулись від того, що змерзли. комах дуже багато, якщо Ви уявляли, що зможете посидити подивитися на зорі, почитати книгу. Ні...скільки б Ви не вилили на себе засіб, це не допоможе. глемпи відкрити до кінця жовтня, але там іде будівництво маленьких будинків. Тому буде шумно. Про це не попереджують заздалегідь.

Ванна кімната, полотенця чисті, було дуже класно змити з себе весь пил після сафарі.

Задум класний, один адміністратор на це все, дуже мало. Адміністратор, повинен, запевнитись, що клієнтам все до вподоби, що вони приїдуть знов, чи порадять приїхати сюди друзям.

Адміністратор яка процювала 16-17 Серпня 2024, просто дно сервісу. Такі люди не повинні працювати, в таких місцях з такою ідеєю.

Сніданок, повність зіпсував враження...

I recently visited Safari Park Medvino, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The park is absolutely stunning, with vast landscapes and a remarkable collection of rare and endangered animals listed in the Red Book. It was incredible to see these animals up close in such spacious, well-maintained habitats that closely resemble their natural environment.

One of the highlights of my stay was the restaurant. The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation – it was a real culinary delight after a day of exploring the park.

The accommodation was equally impressive. The houses were not only beautiful but also very comfortable and cozy, with all the modern amenities you could need. Staying there felt like a perfect blend of luxury and nature.

Overall, Safari Park Medvino is a fantastic getaway for anyone who loves wildlife, great food, and peaceful, high-quality accommodation. I would highly recommend it and can’t...
