RollDXB — Local services in Dubai

So to begin, I was super supper excited to go and learn something new with my friend and was in a very good spirit. The reception staff (Male)was very very strange and honestly we felt not welcomed!

After explaining that we were beginners, we thought he understood us which he DID but gave us ZERO guidance whatsoever and asked us to just wait in the locker where no one helped us. Eventually we asked other skaters who told us what to do, (get the shoes). The shoes were sorted and we nicely made a complaint to an instructor who told us not to be SCARED that the staff will not do anything to us (very amusing). And that he will help us. He then took us to a corner and told us to walk with the skates and THAT IS THAT! he was playing with people who already knew how to skate and filming a lot meanwhile me and my friend were in a corner completely ignored. And at some point we called the instructor to help us but he was headed home. Me and my friend had fun on our own and tried not to let them ruin our outing but we learnt nothing for what we paid. The complementary slush gave us a very good opportunity to meet the lady upstairs serving the drinks and boy she was not happy. Another cold shoulder.

The bottom line is, you have a fantastic business but please sort out your staffs. I work in the customer service industry myself. We all have good and bad days and we made pretty good efforts with your staffs not the other way round and we chose not to give them hard time or put them on the spot.

Not a single one of your staffs working there on the evening of 11/02/2023 were neither kind to us nor doing what they were suppose to do. We did not expect anything than get the lessons...

My daughter absolutely loves the place. But I don’t like their management. I love the place becoz of the dj, the underground tunnel, the lighting. I wanted to throw a birthday party for my daughter, I contacted the team in charge. They gave me a price list. I wasn’t happy with, I felt they were over charging They gave me a price of 1,550 dhs for 10 kids. Including room and 5 Polaroid pics. Not included food. Which was shocking comparing to other places that were place holds birthday parties. I mentioned that their prices were “overcharging” they told ooh sorry that we are in your “budget” I’m sorry I’m not willing to pay more, for a room that’s already sitting there, and 5 Polaroid pics. 10 kids cost 1050 and some kids got their own skates which would add to 90 dhs per child. Buying your own Polaroid camera cost u 400 dhs plus 10 pics .. ya im sorry im not going to pay more. I got 11 kids that cost me 1,100 dhs in addition to that i got my own cake that looks like a 800 dhs cake, i paid 390 dhs NOT from them 450 dhs. I celebrated my daughters at Rolldxb and moved to cafe next door and ate their mommies plus kids for only 700 dhs and with really good quality food. I saved up a lot not celebrating with roll dxb with their party management. And my daughter...

We had such a phenomenal summer experience here. My daughters were in the summer camp all month and learned confidence/skills around skating and skateboarding. The coaches are all super kind and helpful and always made my kids feel so welcome. We decided to do my elder daughter’s (age 14) birthday and again: a wonderful experience. The staff was so, so helpful to all of our guests and made special shoutouts on the mic that made my daughter feel extra special (Jamal was a fab DJ and seemed to knw exactly what to play to get the girls extra giddy). Edwin was our party host and should be recognized for a beautiful set-up and having a genuine smile start to end. I cant say enough abt the patience Jahangir showed w the camera/ pics and videoing: giving us the most beautiful memories to cherish forever. Coach Abdullah, Coach Carla, Coach Joel, Coach Mohammed, Jasmin are all so helpful, kind, fun and really cared abt my kids having a great experience on a daily basis. Kamar, the manager, is so easy to communicate w and is extremely helpful/ solution-oriented.
