Our visit on 8 July 2025 was disappointing. My self and my wife, along with our son, daughter in law, and granddaughter aged 3 went along for our visit. We had booked in advance after seeing reviews and thought it would be fun. When looking at the price it seemed reasonable as it would be about £6 each. When going through the booking process because of the dates we needed, the price had jumped to 10.79 each plus a booking fee and taxes. Total £67.99., divide by 5 equals an individual admission price of £13.95 each. There are no concessions for seniors, our granddaughter paid full price. This doubled the price we were expecting to pay. However it was something we had planned. We even went along 2 weeks before to ask why the price difference and of course, its school holidays so they put up the prices. We could not buy Advance tickets at the desk, only on line. Once inside the indoor play area is very well equipped. The park itself is clean and the animals well looked after. We headed to the barn for the petting and handling session to be told the pets could not be handled. A small area with Guinea pigs in were the only animals within handling distance but only a brush or comb could be used. You can feed the animals provided you buy a bag of food for them. Photographs uploaded by visitors show pet handling, and bottle feeding of lambs and goats. Recent advertising now shows petting and feeding available but you pay extra. There is no picnic area at the park, there was no leaflet handed out to show where the different areas are and signage is a little vague. My wife contacted prior to our visit by to check about a picnic area, but to date, some 7 days later she has...
Read moreI have been coming to Wynford Farm with my son for over 7 years now. We’ve always enjoyed a visit to Wynford and he has had two of his parties there. Over the last few years I have noticed a big change in the quality of food and cleanliness of Wynford. I never had a problem letting my baby crawl about because the staff were always out hoovering and making sure the place was clean. Not so much now. They also use to make fantastic food but now it’s very bland and really not worth the money as it is rather expensive. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful and it’s been some of the same faces over the last few years which is nice.
Today my partner and I took our children age 3 and 7 to Wynford and was detoured to a new entrance where we were told that Adults now must pay to enter the soft play area. It was £22.50 for a family of 4 which I think is atrocious!! The staff member said that it gives us access to all areas including outside which usually they charge adults for. It’s raining today, that’s why we opted for a soft play area. They also have an extension which is a cold tin like shed with a couple of wooden houses which we have access to. If I had known they were going to charge us £4.50 per adult then I would of went to another soft play area. Parents shouldn’t need to pay to sit down for an hour to drink a coffee.
If you’ve never been to Wynford and you’re here for a visit then it maybe is worth a look as the kids do enjoy it but if you’re local stick to the other soft play areas. Plenty of others that are cheaper and better quality for your money. Adults also don’t need to pay! Sadly I will not be returning with...
Read moreVisited 15th Feb having been a couple of times before although the last time I wasn't too impressed and this time sealed the deal as it was a shocking experience.
Arrived just after 4pm, literally thinking will just give the kids a wee bit of fun before heading home but when rocked up there was no one to welcome us so we had to find someone. We were then told there is only 1 price and that's a full day ticket even though there was only 50 minutes to closing. It cost £39.00 for 2 adults and 2 toddlers for 50 minutes and the lady even said it with a straight face. On top of this when we got inside the place was cold, no lights on in the place other than a couple of old Xmas lights so when on the actual soft play it was pretty dark.
If this is a result of electric prices going up its a pretty sad state of affairs when you pass poor service onto your customers and if anything place kids at risk of making then go in equipment in darkness. At 4.45pm yahoo one set of lights came on but the other two sets stayed off and the lights that came on were directly over the eating tables where the cleaners then came in to hover up...
Sorry, the most disappointing experience I've ever had at such an establishment.
In fact, it shows how poor an experience it was in the fact I've never left a review anywhere before simply because I always been satisfied, this one though just takes the biscuit...
PLEASE turn your heating on and for god sake don't make kids play in the dark, you...
