Lovely area for a walk, there is a layby beside fir free parking otherwise the barden field owned by the Bolton Abbey land owners will charge a hefty £15. Its OK if you have a carful of kids as there are well maintained grasslands and walking paths, beautiful area and can also set up a BBQ here. It has outside toilet cubicles, which are always smelly, also has place to dispose of rubbish and water tap. Great area for walks, but just be aware of the steep car parking fee, they have a couple of wardens there in attendance until closure.

Place cam get busy but the bets part is that its...

Stopped off for a walk along the river.. carparks were closed so parked next to the brodge in the free spaces..

The bridge itself is rather narrow with a sharp bend to to get onto it.. a car scraped along as we walked past 🤷‍♂️.

Set off along the river and headed to desolation valley to see the waterfall with h was quite good then a circular route back. All very picturesque with lots of wildlife.

Didn't pass any toilets or cafes. The route was wheelchair accessible along the...

Lastly, come on when did Yorkshire folk accept these outrageous ice-cream prices. Over three quid for a single blob on a come.....

Lovely old bridge. No path except for inlets but it was designed before cars. Its awesome and shows Yorkshire at its best with the River Wharfe below. Limited free parking just after bridge normally with Ice cream Van
