Concrete jungle. Why did Croudace build homes fit for London instead of utilising the space to build homes fit for the population here? No one can be bothered to use their driveway or garages and so people park cars and big vans on the road, on corners, opposite junctions and is a nightmare to navigate around. To make it worse, a wonderful area of woodland has now been destroyed and looks like something out of an apocalypse. No chance the council will do anything to revive it (in fact, it is ear-marked in the Local Development Plan as land reserve for Chineham Railway Station and Car Park!) and I feel so sorry for the homeowners who used to be able to look out on it but now have to wake up to a depressive scene every day.
