An odd experience here really. Was hoping to get a view of the waters of the lake but they're well protected by the trees around it. Of course it dawned on me that the area is a reserve so the wildlife on the lake is the most pressing thing to consider so keeping dogs & people away from the shore is important. There are a few hides dotted about where you get a cracking view of the waters so that makes up for it. Take one of the tracks to grab a view of the church, it's well worth a view. I'm no god botherer but it's good to see the craftsmanship that goes into building these things and of course a wander around the graves is usually interesting for the morbidly curious. Plenty of room in the car park which is an ANPR set up so you only pay on the way out for the time you were there.

Peaceful setting. Tranquil public orchards. Alas not wheelchair nor pushchair friendly. Access trails just too rough for wheels. All the same, nice escape from the hubbub of life and especially the #coronahoax.

An excellent place to walk among nature with different routes. And there is parking space

We really enjoyed our visit to Bodenham Lake, spending an hour in the bird hide with glorious views of wildlife across the lake. The carpark was difficult to find from either direction, with minimal signage so use satnav. It was also awkward to work out where you should walk as the area nearest the carpark still looks like an abandoned industrial zone. The nature reserve map just shows you which areas are designated for which wildlife, not where you can walk. A few paths on the map would be useful. However do persevere. The path through the orchards to the lake edge bird hide is splendid. OK for well behaved dogs on half the reserve, but please remember to poo pick (poo bin...

Quiet nature reserve with lots of bird life. You cannot walk around the entire lake area, only about half is publicly accessible but there are 3 decent hides which can be used at various locations. Parking is spacious and free but there are no facilities. Definitely worth a visit if you are...
