Coleman's Cottage Fishery — Local services in Braintree

I had my 60th Birthday party at the tearooms last night, simply amazing from start to finish, the staff bent over backwards to help at all times through the evening, the food was amazing and they kept it topped up all evening too. A huge thankyou to Clare, Gemma and the rest of the team for making my 60th a very memorable one, us and family also stayed in 3 of the pods, such lovely laid out places to stay, beds were really comfortable and had all the equipment you would need for a couple of days break or longer, hairdryer, even little bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner to use, towels and flannels. We had breakfast (which we have had many times here before on a Sunday), best breakfast in Essex by far and beautiful surroundings, looking out on to the lakes, ‘you definitely need to visit to appreciate how lovely it is here’|We could not fit all of my 60 balloons in our car, one of the guys had a van and offered to drop them off, you would never get that kind of hospitality somewhere else, 5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS PLACE, OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY & THOUGHTFULNESS, thankyou...

I recently stayed for one night in a pod at Coleman's Cottage Fishery, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. The wildlife around the area is beautiful, adding to the serene environment.||The place is massive, with five lakes to explore. We had a fantastic time paddle boarding on the lake, which was a fun and enjoyable activity.||Each pod is well-equipped with an en-suite bathroom, towels, a kitchenette, and a TV, though we didn't need the TV as the surroundings were amazing and perfect for switching off. The pods had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept deeply without hearing any outside noise, if there was any.||For breakfast, I ordered the poached eggs on toast, and it was perfect. The café atmosphere is nice, and sitting outside with a lake view is simply wonderful.||A big thank you to Clare and her family for making this place...
