Surprisingly it was very busy on Sunday morning. It's a lovely short walk. Has a little beach in there. People doing water sports. You can swim in there. Car park is free. There is cafe near the car park. You have to take your own rubbish home. There is also, a woodland to walk.

I'm completely in love with this place! It's the perfect spot to while away a day with a picnic, a book, and pure relaxation. The vibe is so chill, and those tree markers on the little walk were such a cool bonus!

Parking is now chargeable via card No litter bins so inconsiderate people just leave their rubbish lying around No camping, bbqs or campfires and yet saw evidence of all of this Dog poo bin located as you leave the car park The map of the water doesn't really show you anything like trails, so if you've not been before you'll need time to figure out where trails lead Area is very open so gets very hot, but then you can take a dip in the lake to cool off, but it is deep My dogs loved having a...

Lynford Water is a fantastic place for a day out by the lake. There’s plenty of open space to relax, explore, or enjoy a picnic, and the surroundings are beautiful. The water is clear and clean – great for swimming – and we also saw people enjoying themselves on paddle boards. Parking was really convenient and only cost £3 for the day, which is a bonus. Beautiful place to go. Lynford water is opposite Lynford arboretum which are both beautiful places to stroll. There is a big car park and also a small coffee and cake shop and toilet. There are plenty of walks through both areas with a mixture of scenery and atmospheres. Also a great place to walk the dog if you have one. If you took a picnic you could definitely make...
