Static caravan or electric hook ups are available to hire and with very friendly owners Jamie and Dennise, and three prolific lakes on site a good time is assured.Two of the lakes are oblong shaped and have similar types of fish with Brick lake the one nearest to the timber lodge being the one with the specimen fish and the other being the one with islands down the centre being called Tile lake both have carp, bream,tench ,roach ,rudd and perch and are used for both pleasure and match fishing and have both had new match records set recently by owner Jamie with weights in excess of 250lbs .Keepnets and landing nets are provided for both pleasure and match fishing and rules are minimal ,the third lake is a canal type lake with a very mixed stock of fish and great for pole fishing.What makes the sedges so good is the owners look after their customers and are very easy going and helpfull,bait and end tackle are available on site and there is a good tackle shop in bridgwater should you need it.Ihave spent several holidays there now and having fished all over the uk and Ireland as well as France and Holland i love the place because it also has an absolute wealth of first class natural fishing in the area aswell ,canals,rivers, drains etc etc".The SEDGES" ticks...
Read moreWell what can I say visit number 4 to this little haven in the back of now where but only 10 minute drive to a little town which has plenty of bars/pubs and weather spoons. Jamie and denise are the friendliest owners you could wish to meet. Always willing to help out where ever they can. The 1st year we was there my mother in law had to be rushed to hospital was jamie and denise that took us. This year my partner needed some help and they came to our help again so thanku very much. Fishing is excellent well kept and maintained fishery with fish in tip top condition borrowed keep nets and landing nets also very good. Accommodation very clean on arrival so cannot complain. In fact no complaints at all except the bloody motorway lol but hey jamie and denise are good but im sure there not that good to controll the noise :) you adjust to that very quickly.. overall a fantastic place to come and very reosanble priced thanks xx lorna and...
Read moreAs a pleasure angling venue they leave agreat deal to be desired. The access is good and pegs are well placed and maintained. But this is primarily a match water and as such the fish are bullied out and placed into nets for 5 hours and as such are in very poor condition with the bream covered in slime sores and very worn fins. The carp have damaged mouths and fins all down to keep nets. I think there are other better venues nearby...
