Halifax Ski & Snowboard Centre — Local services in Calderdale

Came snow tubing. The slope was well maintained and the lads who ran the session were professional and courteous. I don't think they're taking Covid seriously enough though. One of the other customers had a horrible persistent cough, and wasn't asked about it or asked to take a temperature. Gloves are supposed to be mandatory but only about a third of the people wore them, and although we were kept in bubbles the staff were handling all the equipment so naturally there could have been transference of the virus if it were present. Great place to have a kids /young teenage party. The guys who work on the snow tubing slope are really good with the kids and they cater for special needs, and dietary requirements. The kids loved their time snow tubing and parents can take photos/video from the bottom of the slope, there is also a viewing area inside. Brilliant! Really enjoyed the group session for ski slope using doughnuts. Staff was excellent spending time to guide you to different levels which is great if your a first timer & Service for food & drink, staff was very polite & welcoming. Not just great for kids but Adults aswell to enjoy their youth once again for an hour. Ok the area may need some TLC but that doesn't bother you at all when your having fun! Will do again, will be great for a surprise...
