We found Lulworth Riding School through Google, and I can't express how grateful we are that we did. The tuition is exceptional. Our daughter loves coming here and has done for years now.

She began as a complete novice in the lowest class, riding a variety of different ponies—a practice that, in hindsight, we greatly appreciate. Learning to adapt to different ponies not only taught her crucial control skills but also instilled a sense of confidence in her. Fast forward to today, and she can confidently trot, canter, jump. She has progressed to having her very own pony, a testament to the outstanding teaching and guidance she's received here - because we as parents were NOT 'horsey' at all!!

Carolyn, is an exceptional instructor. Her ability to explain riding techniques and the "whys" behind them sets her apart. She doesn't simply put students on ponies and hope for the best; instead, she imparts her extensive experience and knowledge to ensure that each rider truly understands what needs to be done. Carolyn's firm yet kind approach builds trust, encourages attentiveness, and fosters remarkable improvement.

Having explored many riding schools over the years, I can confidently say that the level of tuition at Lulworth is the best. It's not just about learning to ride; it's about learning to ride safely and confidently. If you're seeking a place for your child to genuinely master riding skills while enjoying a beautiful country setting, surrounded by lovely people, look no further. Oh, and during the winter, the cozy warm fire is the perfect finishing touch.

This Equestrian centre is excellent. As an experienced horsewoman, returning to riding after many years, i have quickly regained my confidence and ability. Carolyn and her team are highly professional and have the welfare and safety of the horses and clients at the heart of everything they do. Beautiful setting and lovely horses, sadly daughter came back in tears due to unacceptable way she was spoken to by owner. She was shouted at and ridiculed for not being good enough, growing confidence knocked from her during hack. Her ability and experience stated at time of booking and before hack (novice with 2x weekly lessons). Didn’t expect to pay for a14 yr old to be bullied by a grown woman.
