The path up from Table Mountain (Crug Hywel) is rugged but closer to the top there are flat large rock stepping stones creating multiple human made staircases and hard rock path between them leading to the trig. Even through the wind and rain I experienced, it was an absolutely beautiful walk round through fields and other miscellaneous areas.
