100% recommended this farm. The Maize Maze is A-mazing. Who ever designs these mazes are very talented - the kids maze was just perfect for the little ones and even saw some team work between the kids !
the adult maze is challenging enough to bring out the competitive side of you. My husband is 6ft and could not see over. So you will get lost for sure. I can’t believe I missed out on all the other years … for sure I have found the place where we will be visiting often and building a lots of happy family and childhood memories. The price is very very good for a family day out or an individual who wants a challenge. There is also a little Prize at the end for completing it.
I brought the pushchair in the Maze - at times it’s bumpy but can be done.
After the maze you could also picked you own courgettes or sunflowers all reasonably priced.
And they have a Picnic area and Cafe with very friendly staff. I love that they allow you to bring a pack lunch … so we brought our pack lunches… but we could not resist the cafe menu - All very tasty and refreshing drinks again all reasonable priced.
Please go along and support this family run business so they can do more and more amazing fun experiences locally. I looking forward to seeing what is on next 👍🏾

Read moreWe had heard a lot of good things about this pick your own farm and it's quite local to us. I haven't been to another pick your own farm so I can't compare the size. There is plenty of parking and it is free. It is the height of strawberry season and there were plenty to be picked. You gather your baskets and trays at the shop and then you can pick the fruit/veg you would like. It is weighed up at the end and you pay by weight. It was reasonably priced, we paid £4.50 p/kg for strawberries. We picked lots of strawberries and blackcurrants. There weren't many raspberries on the bushes, a lot of the blackberries weren't ripe. There were not a lot of vegetables, we could see runner beans growing but no beans. I don't think it was well signposted and we may have missed some things.
It is recommended to go as early as possible to get the best pickings. It opened at 10am, we got there about 11am and it wasn't too busy. Sensible footwear, wellies are suggested for wet days. Children should wear long sleeves.
Toilet facilities there are two portaloos, one is disabled and baby changing friendly. The cafe is quite small, serving teas, coffees, drinks and snacks. There are plenty of picnic benches...
Read moreEdit, 2 years later: disappointing experience this time. Again, we went pumpkin picking. Prices were wrongly advertised as lower than they were but you dont see that until it is time to pay. They refused to honour the prices they had on their own posters on site. New prices written on pumpkins with marker, that you can't see when you walk in. Nobody warning you about the change in price, and it was not even a small change by the way. Being given attitude by the staff when we asked why they didn't make it more obvious that there was a change, why they didn't write the new prices with marker on the poster. It is a real shame to see that type of behaviour, I would even call it false advertising. This has left a truly bitter taste in my mouth. I don't think I'll be back, which is annoying since I liked going to the shop too. Now I'll have to find a new place. What a shame.
Old review: Love it there. We went today to pick some pumpkins. And stopped by the farm shop as well as the Café. The children had a great time and we have some awesome pumpkins...
