Balmule Valley Fishery — Local services in Dunfermline

Absolutely loved it up here, only 10 minutes along the road but you feel like your miles and miles away. So peaceful and relaxed just what I needed. We Were only staying the 1 night but we stayed an extra night. The chickens were our friends the minute we arrived and sat with us all the time seen a dog bowl outside our cabin so i thought id give them water...They don't half drink water eh lol everytime i looked it was empty again but loved their company. The owners are so lovely and caring and have an amazing little sanctuary. And Rab well he's so funny, helpful and great at what he does. I even got some fresh eggs and made my family a roll on fried egg and made Rab one also as he so nice and does alot of running around and finding time to eat is hard when you have alot of guests. An absaloutle shamble of a place I used to fish this place at least 3 times a week until it got bought over by what I can only call money grabbers they are not interested in the sport of fishing they are only interested in taking your money from you it is the dearest fisheries I have been to and you have to pay for absaloutly everything and the fishing experience is terrible. They have focused on families fishing as they know people will pay th money for there kids to fish but trust me there are a hundred other better fisheries and cheaper to take your kids to to fish.
