Been a couple of times. Nice layout with a couple of interesting par 4s but greens are embarrassing for what they charge, dry and overgrown and difficult to differentiate green from fareway. There seems to be little to no maintenance carried out and nothing is being watered. On top of this, I've seen dog mess on the third tee both occasions I've played there. 8 pounds to hire junior clubs. 34 pounds to play 9 holes for myself and one child on father's day. No club sharing policy to maintain pace of play when I spent a good hour being held up by a group of 3 who couldn't hit the ball 20 yards. This course is terrible value for money. A couple of long holes that require a driver/3 wood , tidy greens and an intelligent layout that can tempt a good hit.
Certainly not expensive and combined with the driving range, a perfect day to perfect some of your game.
Surprisingly well stocked little shop with full sets, plenty of wedge options, clothing and shoes and accessories. Well priced and all hosted by friendly staff, too.
Some snacks, machine coffees and a range of flavoured teas complete the trip. A nice place that I'll be back to visit again. And again...
