Quiet which is great if you have an unsociable dog and husband as I do. We actually headed for Barden but when we got there loads of signs saying no dogs. Not great. Headed to Embsay and had a lovely afternoon.

Great little walk, we only did the reservoir itself with our two dogs who loved it. Paths are well maintained and the area is lovely, hoping to do the crag as well next time.

A great place for a short wander whether with a partner, the kids or just the dog. Be aware it can be muddy and wet in places so a good pair of shoes maybe needed.
