An amazing summit on the way up to Green Gable and Great Gable. Did a wild camp on here in the summer and really enjoyed it. Did base Base Brown as my last Wainwright on a route from Stuart Marshall's book taking in Grey Knotts, Brandreth, Great Gable, Green Gable and Base Brown. Superb outing! Quite steep and awkward to descend to Seathwaite Farm from here though.

Great walk and great views down the valley, best route up to to the wall and round the side towards Great Gable then sumit to the rear.
